Our Volunteers

Buena Vista Regional Medical Center volunteers can be found throughout the hospital and community performing a variety of duties. Volunteers are trained yearly and required to fulfill confidentiality and health requirements prior to becoming a part of our team.

Both women and men are welcome to join in sharing their talents, their time, and their support for the betterment of the health community in our region.

Coffee Shop / Café Latte

Volunteers serve one morning. Shifts are 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Monday-Friday.

Gift Shop

Volunteers usually work one morning or afternoon shift per month. 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Our Gift Shop features: 

• Balloons, Gifts, Stuffed Toys, Candy, Cards, Books, Personal Items, Baby Items

Seasonal Decorating

Volunteers set up and take down Christmas decorations throughout the hospital. 

Auxiliary Fundraisers

BVRMC Auxiliary members volunteer for various fundraisers throughout the year.
