BVRMC Held Young at Heart Quarterly Session

Amber Chrischilles | March 27th, 2025

Buena Vista Regional Medical Center’s Young at Heart program held an in-person session in March, “Designing a WellFit Program For You,” featuring Amanda Caboth, BVRMC WellFit Coordinator, and Russ Chrischilles, Physical Therapy Assistant.

Caboth and Chrischilles talked about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the different options BVRMC provides such as physical therapy, the WellFit program and the Fitness & Health Center. BVRMC’s WellFit program is designed to help patients of various medical conditions improve their health and quality of life. With a doctor or physical therapist’s referral, patients can benefit from a supervised and guided wellness program.

Attendees enjoyed the short informational program, delicious snacks and the chance to reconnect with friends. At the end of the program, attendees were lead through a short workout session to get an idea of what a WellFit or personal training session could include.

This informational program is one of Young at Heart’s in-person quarterly sessions offered to members. The Young at Heart program, a free information club, is dedicated to offering health education, motivation and wellness services to individuals aged 55 and above in our community.
