BVRMC Receives 2024 Performance Leadership Award for Patient Perspective

BVRMC | November 22nd, 2024

Buena Vista Regional Medical Center has been recognized with a 2024 Performance Leadership Award for excellence in Patient Perspective. Compiled by The Chartis Center for Rural Health, the Performance Leadership Awards honor top quartile performance (e.g., 75th percentile or above) among rural hospitals.

“We are honored to receive the Performance Leadership Award for Patient Perspective from Chartis Center for Rural Health,” says BVRMC CEO Rob Colerick. “Patients are always our number one priority at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center, and we take great pride in the high level of care that we provide to each and every one of our patients.”

The Performance Leadership Awards are based on the results of the Chartis Rural Hospital Performance INDEX™, the industry’s most comprehensive and objective assessment of rural hospital performance. INDEX data is trusted and relied upon by rural hospitals, health systems with rural footprints, hospital associations and state offices of rural health across the country to measure and monitor performance across several areas impacting hospital operations and finance.

“The Performance Leadership Awards capture the commitment, diligence, and innovation with which America’s rural hospitals approach the delivery of care within their communities,” said Troy Brown, Network Consultant, The Chartis Center for Rural Health. “It’s a tremendous honor to be able to recognize the efforts of this year’s award winners and celebrate their achievement as part of National Rural Health Day.”
