Becker’s Hospital Review recently recognized Buena Vista Regional Medical Center as one of 350 Cleanest Hospitals in the U.S. BVRMC is one of 13 Iowa hospitals who were recognized with a 5-star cleanliness rating.
“BVRMC is very fortunate to have employees who take pride in curating a clean environment for patients each and every day,” says CEO Rob Colerick. “This recognition is a testament to all of our hardworking staff who continuously provide excellent patient care.”
The list was compiled using the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services patient survey, Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. This is a national, standardized survey of hospital patients about their experience during a recent inpatient hospital stay. The surveys, collected between October 2022 and September 2023, emphasize patient satisfaction and were last updated on July 31.
