Buena Vista Regional Medical Center and Northwest Iowa Bone, Joint and Sports Surgeons, an outpatient department of BVRMC, are pleased to welcome Dr. Robert (Bobby) Ivey. Starting in August, Dr. Ivey will began clinic in Storm Lake, Spencer and Pocahontas.
Dr. Ivey graduated from Buena Vista University and Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 2021. He completed his residency program in 2024 at Sanford Health Foot and Ankle Surgery in Fargo, ND.
“Our family is excited to return to our hometown and start serving the people of Storm Lake and the surrounding areas,” says Dr. Ivey. “We loved growing up in Northwest Iowa and look forward to raising our children here as well. We are eager to give back and care for the community that raised us.”
Dr. Ivey and his wife, Mary Rose, are both Storm Lake natives and have two children, Bloom and Augie.
