The Buena Vista Regional Healthcare Foundation held a Life Saver Reception May 15 to thank donors and demonstrate the life-saving equipment purchased through the Foundation’s annual Life Saver Campaign last fall.
Donors purchased new ambulance cots and stair chairs to move people up and down stairs. This equipment helps to save lives and ensure staff safety.
Over the years, the Life Saver Campaign has helped purchase equipment, such as power lifts for the ambulances to reduce staff injuries and a lung function testing machine. Donations are used to support the hospital, helping to provide even greater care for our community.
