Ashley Dirks, Thirty- One Gifts Consultant, recently donated 80 chemo comfort bags to the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center Oncology & Infusion Center. Thanks to 54 donors, the bags were filled with items provided by individuals and businesses to help comfort patients fighting cancer at BVRMC.

For the past four years, Carrie Schmidt has been the consultant spearheading this effort in honor of her dad who fought cancer. When Ashley saw that Carrie was transitioning out of her role, she jumped at the opportunity to take over this effort.

“I wanted to keep this going in memory of my grandma who passed away from cancer,” says Ashley.
