Starting Monday, October 12 Buena Vista Regional Medical Center will take over Test Iowa testing for Storm Lake.
People wanting a COVID-19 test will continue to go to www.testiowa.com and register. Everyone must register via the website. No walk-ins will receive a test.
The Test Iowa Clinic site will be located in the ambulance building at 1525 West 5th Street. Parking will be in the Emergency Department parking lot.
Test Iowa participants will have a scheduled time and must bring the QR code provided by www.testiowa.com when registering. A large banner will designate the location of the site. At a scheduled time the participant will be directed to get out of their car and enter the building.
BVRMC staff will perform the COVID-19 test and send results to the state lab. Results will be emailed to the Test Iowa participant and not BVRMC. Participants should direct any questions about their test to Test Iowa, not BVRMC. Test Iowa will contact the person tested directly and not provide the results to BVRMC.
The Test Iowa Clinic site will start out with hours Monday – Thursday 9:00 am – 2:30 pm and Friday 9:00 am – noon.
