Do you have difficulty carrying out everyday tasks due to an injury or a condition such as high blood pressure, diabetes, chronic pain and/or decreased functional abilities? If you answered yes to any of these, then the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center WellFit program is for you!
WellFit is a supervised and guided wellness program designed to improve health and quality of life. It provides support, guidance, and care to encourage a healthy lifestyle and helps you get well and stay well.

The program’s vision is to supply participants with resources, knowledge and the power to help control their own health.
WellFit is designed for you at an initial evaluation, along with a fitness assessment and goal setting. This one-on-one program is for a wide variety of age groups and provides support, guidance and care to encourage a healthy lifestyle through exercise. Rehabilitation therapists and a certified fitness staff member will design an exercise program to fit your fitness goals. Even if you have never exercised before, this program will help guide you toward a regimen that will fit your lifestyle.
This 8-week program is $56.00, $3.50 per session. Participants schedule two half hour sessions a week.
Ask your doctor or rehab therapist about WellFit to see if it is appropriate for you. BVRMC Rehabilitation Services Department will conduct an initial WellFit evaluation and provide treatment if necessary. BVRMC Fitness & Health Center certified staff will customize an exercise program working towards your goals. One-on-one training sessions ensures each participant understands and is comfortable with all recommended activities. Documentation provided to your doctor on improvements and functional gains.
