Donations to the Buena Vista Regional Healthcare Foundation totaling $13,000 have been used to purchase two Maxi Move patient lifts. These new lifts will provide greater safety and comfort for the patient and help reduce the possibility of injury to the care giver. The lifts can be used to lift and transfer patients ranging in age from children to adults weighing up to 500 pounds. “We are very grateful to the many generous donors who have made the purchase of these lifts, and many other medical advances, possible for BVRMC as it continues to be a health care leader in the region,” states Brad Strader, Executive Director of the Foundation. “Saying thank you is often not sufficient to express our appreciation for their support.” Pictured are members of the BVRMC nursing staff with one of the two Maxi Move lifts.
